Tytus WojnowiczA true king of the oboe, Tytus Wojnowicz has appeared at Carnegie Hall and just about everywhere-all over Europe and North America, throughout Asia, and in parts of Africa. His repertoire is rich and varied, spanning classical, ethnic, and cinematic musical styles. Since 1989, Wojnowicz has been part of the Warsaw Horn Quintet. He is also on the faculty of the prestigious Warsaw Academy of Music. Wojnowicz continues to perform with the Polish Radio Orchestra, the Sinfonia Varsovia, and the National Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as numerous other orchestras in Poland and abroad. "Ensemble de Narol" is Wojnowicz's seventh solo album since 1996. His debut album quickly attained triple-platinum status, and the artist himself has been voted Instrumentalist of the Year more than once. Wojnowicz has taken the oboe, which generally plays a supporting role in an orchestra, and turned it into the star of the show, coaxing from it his signature melodious and delicate sound.
